February 2008 saw the start of three training sessions planned for both new and established Advocates. 

The sessions covered many topics including: Advocacy Values and Principles and what was new in advocacy; Listen To Me — Communication & Confidentiality and Keeping Safe & Adult Protection.

Everyone who attended found the sessions both interesting and fun with many discussions and debates taking place. All those who attended the sessions have received a Certificate of Attendance.

A light lunch will be provided. I hope to see as many volunteer Advocates as possible there!
