My friend Julian has moved from his shared accommodation in Northwich, to a very smart apartment (penthouse!) half a mile away.  This is Julian’s first own home.  The hard work and patience of Julie Dobson, his Social Worker, achieved this move. This lady should be nominated for Social Worker of the year!  Julian has bought himself many of the everyday items one needs in the home. Although the apartment looked splendid with the fresh paint and new carpets, following the hard work of Julian and his family, it was a little lacking in furniture.  A number of friends and St Joseph’s (St Vincent De Paul Society) helped out and my wife, Pauline used her expertise with the sewing machine.  

Over the next week, Julian’s home was adorned with various items of furniture including a new leather reclining chair.  What a team effort!  If you visit the master of the house you will find him stretched out on his new chair.  Finally, and most importantly, Julian is very happy and content in his new home.   Brian, Julian’s Advocate
