The local authority is extremely pleased with the IMCA work being carried out, although we’ve only received a few referrals since April which Heather has undertaken. 

This is extremely valuable work which is often needed at very crucial and stressful times in peoples’ lives and..

In June I undertook four days IMCA training in London.  This was a real trip down memory lane for me as the training took place in the East End near to where I used to live in the early 1980’s.  

The training itself was very detailed and there were lots of practical exercises. I found this really useful and I’m about to embark on my first IMCA referral.  Another very important area is raising awareness of IMCA particularly with services.
