Our AGM was at The Oaklands Hotel, Northwich on 23 May and was a very memorable occasion as it was Lorraine’s last official event. 

There were over 60 people there and we welcomed two new Committee members; Joe Godden & Rosemary Hodgkinson (Rosemary writes in our next newsletter). The event was also Nick’s first official event. 

The Committee and staff presented Lorraine with retirement gifts — it was an emotional moment which was followed by a buffet and disco. 

A montage of photos of Lorraine with lots of people was displayed — the earliest being when she worked at Cranage — a good 20 years ago. 

This certainly won’t be Lorraine’s last dance — she’s our latest volunteer recruit!
